I ordered a bouquet for my Grandma’s 99th birthday from this florist (I live in DC) based on positive reviews and recommendations from family and friends. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The first photo shows what I ordered; the second shows what was delivered. The bouquet I received looked very different from what was advertised. The colors were harsh and garish—not the soft “storybook rose” arrangement I selected. For nearly $100, I expected much better quality and care. There was no communication about substitutions or changes beforehand, which I would have appreciated. To make matters worse, when I called to provide feedback, no one answered the phone. For such an important occasion, this was disheartening. Sadly, I cannot recommend this florist and will not be ordering from them again.

Wonderful local florist & gift shop!! I was so pleased to have chosen to work with Hearts & Flowers for my Wedding in October. The flowers & greenery were beautiful and really made the day extra special. Hearts & Flowers made sure to keep my budget in mind, and really brought my ideas for the day to life. They were very accommodating to my request for specific types of eucalyptus greenery that I had fallen in love with during a trip to Australia!

What a nice little shop in downtown Dexter! The owner was so nice and very helpful. She really knows how to connect with people. She helped us with an indoor plant, looked up the plant name so we could find the proper care instructions and made a quick bouquet of fresh flowers for us - on the spot! This place is full of unique gifts, cute stuffed animals, and of course tons of flowers and plants. Check out the doves (yes, actual doves) in the front area! I highly recommend visiting this place for gifts, special occasions and so forth.

My best friends sent me a "get well soon" bouquet from this shop yesterday, and the arrangement and vase are absolutely beautiful! We appreciated the call ahead to notify us that the delivery person was on her way, and the woman who delivered them was very pleasant, recognizing that I couldn't open the door because of my arm in a sling, and instead, placing the arrangement on the box on our porch. Excellent product & excellent service - all my local floral needs will be done through this shop!!
